The services we will operate during an outage include email and redirecting lbl.gov web sites to status.lbl.gov, where status information will be available. More services may be added in the future.

If the email servers are not available, you will still be able to send and receive email. You can use your normal email client (e.g., Thunderbird) or you can use webmail by following this link: https://imapdr1.lbl.gov/.

When the lab's email servers are restored, any mail that you received during the outage will be available in your regular email folders. However, any email that you send during the outage will not be sent to your regular sent folder. Therefore, you should "cc" yourself on any emails that you send during the outage that you want a record of.
