Lab Roads Closed 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for Annual Lab Runaround on Friday, Oct. 17

The annual Runaround takes place this Friday, Oct. 17. For the safety of participants and drivers:

• Grizzly Gate will close from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

• All parking lots on the Runaround route will be closed to entry and exit from 10:45 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

• Most Lab roads will be closed during the Runaround from 11:00 a.m. until approximately 1:30 p.m.  

• Shuttles will turn around at Building 65 from 11:00 a.m. until approximately 1:30 p.m.

The starting line for this year’s event is on Alvarez Road at Building 55. The finish line is at Building 90.

This year’s event on the hill site culminates in a Finish Line Festival at Building 90. The Festival is open from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for the entire Lab community. More details can be found at runaround.lbl.gov/2025-runaround-finish-line-festival
